Clean property with amiable and well managed staff. Unbeatable location in a beautiful setting, and only about 20 minutes' walk to Steventon centre. Budget room and comfy with beamed ceiling. Plenty of delicious options for meal.

Amazing hotel with free wifi, 24-hour reception, and a lovely restaurant. The staff even helped with currency tips during my first stay! I highly recommend it and am definitely coming back for Christmas.

Conference facilities are good - with the tea/coffee stations available at all times it's excellent (though it doesn't stop the queues when the nearest station is the smallest!). Bedrooms are comfortable for a night when on a business trip. Lunch was excellent.
Bedrooms are a long trek and out of the main hotel. The bedrooms are pretty cramped and on a course as I was, it would have been nice to have just a bit more room to spread papers around! The evening meals are good quality, but the menu isn't extensive and is overpriced.

Booked Milton House hotel to be handy for Bicester the next day - we didnt arrive till late and left quite early so did not make much use of the hotel facilities - reception and main part of the hotel are lovely and nicely decorated. The annexe we were in is not attractive from the outside but the rooms were fine and quite spacious. Ideal for what we wanted. We did not use restaurant or bar or pool but all looked nice. The hotel is very geared up for conferences / events and bar was taken over by a large group but this didnt affect us really. Nice grounds too if the weather had been better,
Room we were given was in an annexe which is in another building - does involve a walk along corridor and then a little bit outside - although this is covered it was very wet when we arrived and so not ideal. There is car parking right by the annexe though so you could drive round once you have checked in - not very far at all. Hotel very geared for conferences etc so not a lot of people there apart from those with events.

I really loved how I could easily stroll to the beautiful Milton Manor House, just a little over 2 km away, and the peaceful Didcot Railway Centre, less than 5 km away. The room was pleasant, very clean and tidy, and I appreciated the overall good facilities.

The gentleman on reception had the perfect combination of being both professional and welcoming and this was continued throughout the rest of our short stay by the rest of the staff.

A very stunning setting for a wedding and the weather was stunning!
The chap at reception when we checked in was extremely helpful and very on the ball as were the staff overseeing breakfast but the chap on the main bar was on another planet and kept getting the simplest of orders wrong and was slower than a snail at serving drinks. Was the only thing that wasn't slick at this excellent hotel.

My trip was for a friends wedding reception when there was a foot of snow in Oxford as such the staff were very polite and helpful. The majority of the guests stayed here which was ideal. Various spacious rooms and areas were used that were all within a short walking distance. It was very luxurious, even more so since it was decorated for Christmas. The swimming pool was large but unfortunately we did not have enough time to use it.
Since the hotel was large, I had quite a walk back and forth to my room which involved going outside in the freezing weather. But it enabled us to see more of the lovely hotel and surrounding gardens.
